The Secretary of Energy Advisory Board Subcommittee on Shale Gas Production issued two reports in 2011 on needed measures to lessen the negative environmental and health impacts of this industry. The first report issued a full complement of recommendations; the second report refined these and prioritized them for state or federal action.
