Comprehensive Guide to Studying Wind Energy/Wildlife Interactions

This document is a product of the National Wind Coordinating Collaborative Wildlife Workgroup. Formed in 1994 to look at wind power and pursue the shared objective of developing environmentally, economically, and politically sustainable commercial markets for wind power in the United States. The NWCC forum provides opportunities for dialogue among lawmakers, public agencies and regulators, conservationists, and industry to discuss and develop unbiased and authoritative publically-available information on siting wind power. This document was published in 1999 and has been expanded to incorporate what has been learned in the intervening years.
