Wind Turbine Guidelines Advisory Committee Recommendations

The Wind Turbine Guidelines Advisory Committee was established in 2007 to provide recommendations for limiting impacts to wildlife and their habitats from land-based wind energy facilities. The 2010 recommendations are divided into two sections: policy recommendations and voluntary guidelines for wind siting and operations to avoid and minimize wildlife harm. (PDF, 3.4 MB)
