This report was developed by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and USFWS; it is intended to provide state and federal natural resource managers baseline information about wind energy policies and guidelines that are in use across the United States. The report contains an executive summary, overviews of state-level wind siting processes, environmental policies, and wind/wildlife guidelines, and individual descriptions of the wind guidelines for 17 states.
