The Western Electric Coordinating Council’s (WECC) Environmental Data Task Force (EDTF)  develops recommendations for incorporating environmental and cultural concerns into transmission planning. For this overview paper, the EDTF drafted a series of these recommendation based on their findings from a case study which involved interviewing a diverse group of stakeholders for four potential transmission line projects.
