We ask that Logan City establish a board to better monitor and manage both branches of the Logan river.
We oppose any further destruction of the Little Logan River (a.k.a. the North Branch of the Logan River) as proposed by the 2024 Logan River Watershed Project. Proposed destruction includes cutting the river off from its source, diminishing flows, piping, pumping, lining, further diverting, covering, or replacing it with a trail or lawn.

We oppose managing this natural river as a canal. Historic maps, the National Map of US Geological Survey, Geology, and many legal records verify it is a river.
We ask that all parties recognize both the Little Logan River (North) and main (South) branches of the Logan River equally and ensure protection of both rivers and their eighteen riverside parks. Currently waters of the Little Logan River are 100% diverted into the Logan River in the fall, winter, and spring. We ask for meaningful year-round flows in both rivers. The rivers provide life-enrichment to all of Cache County, its visitors, and wildlife.
Upgrading the irrigation system can be successful without harming the Little Logan River.
This petition asks Logan City to set up a board to better monitor and manage both branches.
